Capri
Capri is an enchanting and picturesque island reachable by boat. There are only two towns – Capri, just above Marina Grande, and Anacapri, the higher town. Lemon trees, flowers, and birds are abundant all around. The truly highlight is the Villa San Michele in Anacapri built by the Swedish physician and writer Axel Munthe on the site of a Tiberian villa surrounded by the wonderful garden with breathtaking views of the cliffs and sea. Do not even think to visit Capri without having read the book “The Story of San Michele”!!!
